TracksideBroadcasting.com has roots which are over 15 years old. The company believes it has one of the cleanest databases of horseplayers on the Internet.
Trackside originated as QuikCap Corporation in 1992, a provider of handicapping information using kiosks at Hollywood Park.
In 1996 QuikCap was reorganized as Turf.Club.com to take advantage of the Internet and the revenue model was changed to offer free handicapping selections for horse racing in return for advertiser access to the email of the customer. A database of almost 1 million horseplayers was accumulated using this model.
In 2000 TurfClub.com entered the terrestrial radio business when it acquired Trackside Radio. This part of the company expanded to 10 live radio programs across the U.S. with one hour weekend programs in such cities as Los Angles, Miami, Dallas and New York City.
In 2002 the company changed its format from terrestrial radio to Internet Rradio and was renamed Trackside Broadcasting.
In 2003 the company implemented procedures to comply with the CAM-SPAM act
of 2003. This resulted in the customer email database being reduced from 1
million to approximately 100,000. At the same time the company began a free
daily news letter and free handicapping audio analysis in return for further
access to the horseplayer customer.
As of January 2008 our email database has increased to approximately 116,000.
The company also has a direct mail database of approximately 230,000 which is escrowed by a 3rd party mail house who also manages secure mailings when the list is rented.
The Trackside customer database is spread across the U.S. and Canada with the largest group (20%) residing in California and 4% outside of North America.
Trackside Broadcasting features the best Thoroughbred Picks and Thoroughbred Handicappers in the industry today.
