Brian Blessing - BIO
Brian Blessing has been handicapping professionally for more than a decade. An award winning sportscaster for 25 years, Brian made the move into horse racing in the mid 90’s as the on air analyst and track handicapper at Fort Erie Race Track. He also was actively involved as the television host and analyst at Woodbine, on their biggest days of the year, including co-hosting the international simulcast of the 1996 Breeders’ Cup in Toronto. Brian has also filed live and taped reports for ESPN’s Racing Across America. In 1997, he earned an Eclipse Award for Local Television, writing, narrating, and co-producing a documentary on the ‘First 100 Years’ of racing at Fort Erie.
In terms of picking WINNERS, Brian hopes you’re not opposed to cashing winning tickets on longshot plays. Adept at projecting improved performances, especially with high priced maidens, Blessing gives you the opportunity to light up the toteboard with flat bets, exotics, and huge pick three’s.
He can share consistent angles on runners that are ready to run big at big prices. There’s nothing like selecting the winner in a big stakes event, but in reality, the biggest prices are generally found at smaller tracks, where inconsistent runners wakeup and reward their backers handsomely.
