Purse: $30,000 5 Pink Sand (7-2) 1 Alpha Darlin (5-2) 3 Dixieland Melody (9-2) 7 Squabble (4-1) 5 Pink Sand needed the grass prep after two solid attempts on the dirt; figures to be the one to beat. 1 Alpha Darlin finished well in first with winners; chance for another move forward. 3 Dixieland Melody has worked well for the return off the first clunker of the career; in the hunt with this group. 7 Squabble will see added pace pressure in here; could hang around for a piece. ------------------------------------------ EIGHTH RACE Probable Post 3:45 EDT 5 Furlongs. Purse: $70,000 12 Blue Sailor (6-1) 8 Heros Reward (4-1) 7 Smart Enough (3-1) 1 Cardashi (12-1) 10 Central City (5-1) 12 Blue Sailor ran big in this spot last year; prep was good and has him sitting on a big one. 8 Heros Reward was favored here last year, with the big prep; hard to gauge but runs well fresh. 7 Smart Enough may be a cut below his old self; must find best with no prep off the long layoff. 1 Cardashi chased the pick home in prep; ready to fire a better shot at him in here. 10 Central City battled gamely to the wire in Kentucky counterpart; not out of this. ------------------------------------------ NINTH RACE Probable Post 4:18 EDT 6 Furlongs. 3-Year-Olds. Fillies. Miss Preakness Stakes. Purse: $26,000 11 Phosphorescent (5-2) (*BEST BET*) 7 Super Chunky (6-1) 6 I Can Do (10-1) 9 Outquest (20-1) 11 Phosphorescent has run well, fresh, at every opportunity; has the numbers to be a player. 7 Super Chunky’s lone grass effort resulted in a big figure, runner-up finish; has to overcome the layoff. 6 I Can Do It finished well in second career turf evenly; in the hunt with this group. 9 Outquest finished with interest in last; can snag a piece in the stretch run. ------------------------------------------ ELEVENTH RACE Probable Post 5:20 EDT 6 Furlongs. 3-Year- Olds and Up. Purse: $70,000 8 All Giving (5-1) (*LONGSHOT SPECIAL*) 2 Sweet Goodbye (3-1) 9 Rightly So (5-2) 6 Lights Off Annie (9-2) 8 All Giving may have the perfect set up for that closing speed with the torrid pace up front; loves the strip and can notch another. 2 Sweet Goodbye did not take to the tight Charlestown configuration but has taken last three in Maryland, including the Grade 2 Fritchee; will be tough to handle in this spot. 9 Rightly So has dominated in the NY bred ranks; hard to play at the short price in open company. 6 Lights Off Annie has the figures to take this but lone three tries outside the state bred ranks were her worst. ------------------------------------------ TWELFTH RACE Probable Post 5:50 EDT 1 1/8 Miles. 3-Year- Olds. Fillies. BlkEySsn (Grade 2). Purse: $175,000 1 No Such Word (7-2) 6 Tidal Pool (8-5) 5 Harissa (5-1) 2 Seeking the Title (5-1) 9 Diva Delite (8-1) 1 No Such Word skipped the Oaks for this; working extremely well and can turn the tables on 6 Tidal Pool, who paired the triple digit Beyer before tiring late in that race; in great form and will be tough to catch. 5 Harissa’s lone dirt try produced her best figure, ever; be a factor in the lane. 2 Seeking the Title has been solid since stretching out; working well but may need one to be at best. 9 Diva Delite has won her last 8 of 9 on the dirt surface; toss the synthetic try, will be close with these. ------------------------------------------ THIRTEENTH RACE Probable Post 6:18 EDT 1 1/16 Miles. Turf. 3-Year-Olds. Fillies. Hilltop Stakes.
