CHAIRMAN NOW chased the fastest horse of his generation,
Eskendereya in last two starts as a 2yo and earned good
figures on turf and dirt; returns for good layoff barn and
gets call on any surface here...STORMY SPIRIT well bred colt
ran well in debut for a top turf barn; note that rider Alan
Garcia took top pick over this one...TOUCH OF SILVER debuts
for hot Bill Mott/Desourmeaux combo and they are at 31% this
meet...EL PRIMERO comes off an improved effort in turf debut
and is dangerous here....SAVANNAH BAY is main track only and
has to be considered if races is moved to dirt, he makes
belated debut at 4yo but sold for 1.2 million and has been
training well for Zito.

HEY BABE raced in tough fields in two turf starts at
Gulfstream; was short in return but takes a key drop here
and returns to turf; top call any surface but turf
preferred...HALCYON DAYS moves into hot barn off a nice try
at Calder...LOYAL SHADOW finished strongly to break maiden
in last...VALUABLE LADY is quick and just missed in last;
becomes extra tough if the 1 horse, her main pace rival, is
scratched.

7 UNTO CAESAR 7-2
9 STONES THROW 4-1
WICKED TUNE dueled for the lead in a big key race at Tampa
in last; speedy colt makes first start for a tag for hot
barn and may wire these and his entrymate The Duke Rules is
bred to win early...HERECOMESDEGROUSE was 2nd best in 3yo
debut vs similar...UNTO CAESAR sold for $120k but debuts for
a tag but trainer does well in these types of spots...STONES
THROW was a competitive 3yo who ran second in e6 of 8 starts
but has shown a decline in figures at 4yo; perhaps the turn
back to a sprint and switch to Elvis will help; has the best
back-figs.
